As part of our ongoing security improvement plan we recently added captcha to the hosting control panel log in screen. This is to prevent any automated attacks on your account. We realize that it’s an extra step that you may find inconvenient at first but I’m sure you all agree that system security is top priority. As an added security measure we have now added an FTP locking feature for all shared hosting accounts. This enables our customers to lock FTP access to there account when it’s not in use, making it more difficult for hackers to gain access. You can unlock your FTP for a given time or by IP address so you can access your files from your home pc even when FTP is locked.

What is the definition of web hosting? The answer is in the question really, a web hosting company is someone who will ‘host’ your web site in exchange for money (usually recurring payments). We have received a lot of positive feedback on our previous site layout, and also a few suggestions for improvement. Based on the suggestions we received we decided to revamp the sites layout to accommodate new features and better server our loyal customers.
- Added a left hand menu
We decided to add a left hand side menu as opposed to just having a menu at the top of the site. This means that users can directly access much more content on the site with a single click.
- Added a login box on the left hand menu
We found that our users were experiencing problems finding the login page as there was no direct way to access it easily. To combat this we have added a login box on the new left hand menu which will log you in directly.
- Moved downloads section to the blog
Our downloads are now available within our blog, this is for usability reasons. Users will be unaffected by this change.
- Added tutorials section to the blog
We have added multiple tutorials sections to our blog where we will be posting all of the techniques, tricks and tips that we use on a daily basis within our designs. All of these tutorials are free.
- Added the ability to log into your hosting directly
You can now view your hosting packages and log directly into the hosting control panel with a single click.

A single click login box has now been added to the my hosted web section. You can now log in directly from our web site without the need to go to http://cp.yourwebsite.co.uk
To log in to your hosting control panel from now on you can simply click client log in on our homepage, enter your hosted web email and password, then click view products on the top of your client page. Once there simply click on the package that you would like to log in to and you will see a login button under your hosting package details.
